Colt 1908 Vest Pocket .25 ACP Serial Number 377711
Factory "B" Engraved with Mother of Pearl Stocks

Factory Engraved Colt 1908 Vest Pocket .25 ACP serial number 377711 - Factory "B" engraved, blue finish with flush medallion mother of pearl grips.  Pistol was a single gun shipment shipped to "Loan Account", Whitney Sporting Goods Company, Denver, Colorado on April 30, 1930.  It was processed on Colt Factory Order number 15554/1.  Factory records further indicate that the pistol was returned to the factory on December 8, 1933.  It was then shipped to A.F. Stoeger Company in New York on December 12, 1933.

While not specified in the letter, based on the pattern of engraving, this pistol was most likely engraved by Colt factory engraver Wilbur Glahn. Glahn engraved others that are close in number to 377711.
