Colt Ace serial number 292 - Pistol shipped July
29, 1931 in a ten gun shipment. Shipped to Union
Hardware & Metal Company, Los Angeles, California. Pistol is accompanied by its' original
instructions.


Colt Ace serial number 292 - pictured with original
instruction sheet and early original two-tone magazine. Hole in rear of magazine
(visible in the photo below) does not appear on all Ace
magazines. Later two-tone magazines have been observed
without the hole.

Colt Ace serial number 292 - rear of
slide is stamped "292" which matches the serial number on
the right side of the frame.

Colt Ace serial number 292 - grip safety and
mainspring housing - note, as with the commercial match
pistols, the mainspring housing is not equipped with a
lanyard loop.
